Bethany Village to host Hershey Symphony Orchestra
“Sounds of Summer” Series Concert Benefits Community’s Care Assurance Fund

MECHANICSBURG, PA -- Bethany Village will host the 75-piece Hershey Symphony Orchestra for an outdoor concert to benefit the Care Assurance Fund on Thursday, July 31 at 6 p.m. The concert is the first of Bethany Village’s Sounds of Summer concert series, sponsored by the Grammes and Wienken families, and 100 percent of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Care Assurance Fund.

Bethany Village’s Care Assurance fund provides benevolent assistance for those residents who have exhausted their finances. In 2007, approximately $725,000 was provided for the care of Bethany Village residents who, through no fault of their own, have outlived their financial resources.

Bethany Village residents, along with family and friends who purchased tickets for a minimum donation of $10, are excited about the event. The public and media are invited to attend. For those interested in purchasing tickets for the event, please contact J.D. Shuman at 717-591-8019 for more information.

Bethany Village is situated on a 155-acre campus in Lower Allen Township near the borough of Mechanicsburg. As a Continuing Care Retirement Community, it offers a variety of programs for retirement living to suit individual preferences and needs.
