Working in conjunction with the Executive Director, the Board of Governors is responsible for overseeing the overall functioning of all parts of Bethany Village. Social programs, quality of care and services, master campus planning, and fundraising activities (in conjunction with the Asbury Foundation) are all areas of special concern. Comprised entirely of volunteers, the Board of Governors is deeply committed to ensuring that Bethany Village maintains the highest standards for the quality of life and care for both our residents and associates.
Background: Charles received a master's degree in divinity from Lancaster Theological Seminary and is an ordained elder in the Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Volunteered: Charles holds positions within the Susquehanna Conference include chair of the Conference Relations Committee, board member of Global Ministry, chair of the Loan Fund, member Board of Trustees and second vice president in charge of Conference-owned properties
Current Position: lead pastor, St. Paul United Methodist Church, Manchester, Pa.
Background: Mark holds a juris doctor degree from the Dickinson School of Law and a master of law in taxation from Villanova School of Law. Mark's practice specializes in business and energy law, estates & trusts and taxation, and is active in northern Pennsylvania counseling land owners with oil and natural gas interests.
Volunteered: Mark is actively involved with several community and non-profit organizations in Central Pennsylvania.

Background: Kerwin graduated from Roanoke College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and holds a CPA in Tennessee. He has worked for various companies over his career in Tennessee and Pennsylvania where he has held senior accounting positions.
Volunteered: Kerwin actively holds positions in a number of community organizations including the following, Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors for Salt ‘N Light Youth Ministry, Chairperson of the Board of the United Methodist Home for Children, Member of the Audit Committee for Asbury Communities, Inc., and Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors for Uplifting Athletes, Inc.
Current Position: Chief Financial Officer, Pyramid Construction Services, Inc.
Background: Tita graduated from Carnegie Mellon University. After raising her family and having a full volunteer schedule she owned a small business in Mechanicsburg, Biddles, and managed the Museum Shop at the State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg.
Volunteered: Tita was founder and chairman of The Mechanicsburg Area Foundation, a regional foundation of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities; founder and past president of the Mechanicsburg Museum Association; president of The Junior League of Harrisburg, Inc.; and member of Board of Directors of Seidle Memorial Hospital and Cumberland County Historical Society.
Current position: retired, Bethany Village Resident and member of the Bethany Village Residents' Council, Board of Governors, Asbury Foundation Board of Directions and member of Foundation's Executive Committee.
Background: Dale graduated from Allegheny College and attended graduate school at Bowling Green State University. He served in the U.S. Army as an officer in Information Systems and retired from a career with the Bell System and Verizon as Director of Information Systems.
Volunteered: Dale is an Eagle Scout and remained active in Scouting for over 30 years. He was actively involved with community relations for Bell of PA. He is involved as elder, choir member and property management for his local church.
Current position: Retired. Bethany Village Resident. Co-Chair of Phase II building campaign. Chairman of the Dining Committee, Chairman and Founder of the Bethany Village Remembrance Garden, member of the Board of Governors, the Bethany Village Facilities Committee, Information Systems Committee, Men's Chorus and the Bethany Village Residents' Council, acting as its Treasurer.
